WICHITA, Kan. - INTRUST Bank Arena will have free WiFi for fans attending events, starting with the Wichita Thunder home opener game Friday.
The SMG-managed Arena announced Thursday a total of 200 wireless access points have been installed around the arena. A press release from SMG states attendees should get WiFi anywhere inside the arena. The signal should also be available right outside while attendees wait in line.
The project cost a total of $1.1 million and is powered by the Cox Hospitality Network, a division of Cox Communications.
After visitors connect to the WiFi network, they will be prompted to accept terms and conditions before using the full WiFi functionality.
