Wichita BOE reaches tentative deal with union

WICHITA, Kan. - The Wichita Board of Education and  Service Employees International Union reached a tentative agreement on a benefits package for the 2017-18 time frame.

Changes include a 3.75 percent pay raise, and unfreezing longevity pay. There will be no chance to health plan payments.

Union members will vote on this agreement on September 20. If approved, the Board of Education will give final approval to the agreement on October 2nd. Pay increases would begin October 13.
