WICHITA, Kan – A federal judge has sentenced a Wichita man to almost five years in prison for taking guns from an undercover police car.

38-year-old Travis Keller pleaded guilty to possessing stolen firearms. He admitted that he and co-defendant Justin Winger took weapons from an unmarked police car. The weapons included a 9 millimeter handgun, a 12-gauge shotgun and a 5.56 caliber rifle.

A judge gave Keller 57 months in federal prison. Winger is scheduled for sentencing in November, and a third man, Arthur Mannie, is scheduled for trial in January.
