Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, CT was evacuated Friday morning, following a threat to the school.
It comes on the 6 year anniversary of the mass shooting that left 26 children and staff dead. Authorities do not believe the threat is credible, but children have been sent home for the day as a precaution.
Authorities do no believe the threat is connected to yesterday’s bomb threats that were sent to locations across the U.S.
