Two men convicted in separate Wichita murder cases

Two men convicted in separate Wichita murder cases

Juries have found two men guilty in two separate murder cases in Wichita from 2015 and 2016.

22-year-old Jamion Wimbley was convicted on two counts of first degree murder for a double homicide case from New Year’s Day, 2015.   Brenton Oliver and Betty Ann Holloman were shot to death in the front yard of a home in the 2500 block of East Mossman.   Wimbley is the fourth man to be tried and convicted in the case, and he will be sentenced on January 25th.   Quincy Carter and Brent Carter are serving life sentences, Johnathan Carter is scheduled for sentencing on January 2nd.

A jury found 29-year-old Keeshaun Milo of Wichita guilty for a fatal shooting in December, 2016.  Michael Hamilton was killed in the 3800 block of South Meridian.   Milo was convicted of first degree murder and he will be sentenced on January 11th.
