An Oklahoma woman has pleaded guilty and paid fines for illegally poaching a deer.
She was caught after she bragged about killing a “bigo buck” while talking to a man on a dating app. What she didn’t know was that the man was Oklahoma game warden Cannon Harrison.
The woman admitted in her conversation with the game warden to using a rifle outside of rifle season to shoot the deer on her property and to also using a spotlight. She also reportedly only harvested the head and backstrap meat, which is also illegal.
The unidentified woman did not know Harrison was a a game warden at the time. Warden Harrison shared the case, including screenshots of his conversation with the woman and photos from the crime scene with the Oklahoma Game Warden’s Facebook page.
