A recent poll of registered Kansas voters shows 70% believe the Home Mortgage Interest Deduction is a factor in deciding to buy a home.
The poll conducted by the Kansas Association of Realtors also revealed voters believe it will have a negative impact on the housing market and the Kansas Economy.
Steve LaRue, President of the Kansas Association of Realtors, said the preservation of the Home Mortgage Interest Deduction and property tax deductions for all Kansas tax payers is important to voters, Realtors and the Kansas Economy.
