One person is dead after a crash in South Wichita Monday evening.
Three vehicles crashed near 55th St S and Broadway at around 6:30 p.m., and an SUV involved in the crash rolled over. A woman in that SUV was taken to a hospital in critical condition and later died. She is identified as 19-year-old Carleena Johnson of Wichita.
Police closed off Broadway for several hours Monday night while they investigated the crash. No word on a cause has been released yet.
