FRIDAY MORNING UPDATE
The person who died in a crash on the Turnpike in Butler County Thursday has now been identified.
State troopers say 22-year-old Bryan Garcia-Olvera from Wichita died in the crash on Interstate 35 near El Dorado. The Kansas Highway Patrol Crash Log states the Ford van Garcia-Olvera was driving started to go off the road, over-corrected, then rolled several times around 3 p.m. Thursday.
A 29-year-old man who was a passenger was taken to a hospital for suspected serious injuries. Neither the driver nor the passenger were wearing seat belts.

One person has been killed and another was in critical condition after a crash on the Kansas Turnpike near El Dorado.
The crash was reported around 3 p.m. Thursday on I-35 at mile marker 69 in the southbound lanes. One vehicle was involved in the crash.
Kansas Turnpike troopers are investigating.
