Army ROTC program slated at Wichita State for fall

An Army ROTC program will begin at Wichita State this fall. The program will create a path to college for the nearly 2,500 students already involved in Junior ROTC programs at Wichita-area middle and high schools. Students in the program will choose a major or their choice and minor in military science.

The program will create a path to college for the 2,500 middle and high school students that currently participate in Junior ROTC. There are a number of scholarships offered through the ROTC and Kansas National Guard, including the payment of tuition and fees or a $5,000 housing stipend per semester.
