The Valero gas station at Meridian and McCormick was robbed at gunpoint around 5:30 a.m. Monday.
Two men entered the store, one of them armed with a shotgun. He pointed the gun at the clerk and demanded money.
The clerk cooperated and the men left with cash from the store on foot. So far, they have not been caught.
The first suspect is described as an unknown white or Hispanic man, around 6′ tall and weighing 180 pounds. He was wearing a gray hoodie, blue shorts, white socks, with a black logo, gray shoes, a black bandanna covering his mouth, and he was armed with a shotgun.
The second suspect is described as an unknown white or Hispanic man, around 5’10” tall, weighing 280 pounds, and wearing black sunglasses. Anyone who was in the area and may have witnessed anything suspicious is asked to contact Wichita Police detectives at 268-4407 or Crime Stoppers at 267-2111.
