UPDATE: The Sedgwick County sheriff’s office has identified the man who was killed early Thursday in a motorcycle crash near Haysville.
36-year-old Rick Allen Stevens of Wichita was killed in the crash around 12:45 a.m. near 63rd Street South and Broadway. The area was closed to traffic for hours after the crash. Deputies are still investigating.

A man is dead after a crash at the southern edge of Wichita overnight.
Police say a motorcycle crashed near 63rd Street South and Broadway around 12:45 a.m. Thursday.
The crash shut down roads in that area for several hours, but those roads opened to traffic again before 5 a.m.
