Employee cut during Family Dollar store robbery

Wichita Police hope you can identify two men who robbed a Family Dollar store Tuesday night.

It happened shortly before 10 p.m. near 13th and Oliver.  Two employees were inside of the store when two men came in, armed with knives.

The men demanded money, and one of them slashed the hands of one of two women, causing what police say was a very minor injury.  They left with an unknown amount of cash.  No one else was hurt.

The first suspect is described as an unknown race male in his mid-twenties.  He was around 5’5″ tall and weighs around 135 to 140 pounds.

He was wearing a black hoodie, blue jeans, and was wearing either blue or purple gloves.  He also had a skeleton mask covering his face.

The second suspect was also described as an unknown race male in his mid-twenties, around 5’5″ tall and weighing around 135 to 140 pounds.  He was wearing a black jacket, with a maroon hoodie underneath, gray sweatpants, wearing a black stocking cap on his head, and a skeleton mask covering his face.

He wearing only one black glove on his hand.  both men were armed with a single knife.
