The Wichita Police Department ran a prostitution sting Wednesday along the Broadway corridor.
Arrest records show 12 arrests were made during the sting. There is a 13th arrest shown but it’s in a different area and may have been unrelated.
The is the WPD’s 17th prostitution sting since the Broadway enforcement project started in 2017. To date, 137 arrests have been made. Officers have more sting operations planned for the future as work to continues to drive sex trafficking out of the Broadway corridor area.
