The man accused of crashing into a motorcycle driven by an off-duty Wichita Police officer and his 11-year-old son, killing them both, has been bound over for trial.

It happened in the evening on April 28, 2018 at 21st Street N. and 167th Street West.  36-year-old James Dalrymple is accused of failing to yield and driving into the path of the motorcycle being driven by Stacey Woodson.  The crash killed Woodson and his son Braeden.

Dalrymple was later arrested on charges of involuntary manslaughter and failure to yield.  Prosecutors say Dalrymple was under the influence of alcohol and drugs at the time of the crash.

A judge found Friday that there is enough evidence to proceed to trial.  Arraignment is scheduled for June 25 at 9 a.m.
