A man and woman have been charged with first degree murder in connection with a fatal stabbing in south Wichita.
25-year-old Royce Thomas and 24-year-old Micaela Spencer had their first appearances Thursday in Sedgwick County district court. They are also charged with two counts of theft and various other charges. Their bond was set at $500,000 each.
Thomas and Spencer were arrested after the body of 50-year-old William Callison was found late Monday in his stolen recreational vehicle at a home near Hydraulic and Southeast Boulevard. Callison had been reported missing. Thomas and Spencer were found by police in his truck, and police said Callison and the suspects knew each other.
