Wichita Police have announced the passing of Laddy, a service dog that comforted crime victims.
The department announced on its Facebook page Sunday evening that Laddy was diagnosed with cancer earlier this year. He passed away this weekend.
Laddy began comforting crime victims in Wichita on January 28, 2014, until June 27 of this year. The department asks that you keep his handler Michelle in your thoughts.
