Crews have been on the scene of a building fire in east Wichita.
The fire was reported around 3:45 p.m. at 13th and Greenwich Road. Smoke was seen from a mile away as crews arrived and a second alarm was turned in to get more units to the scene. Crews had to take a defensive posture, staying outside the building and directing water inside, because of concerns over the roof.
Traffic is being blocked around the building location. There are no reports of any injuries.
