Valley Center police officers and Sedgwick County deputies were searching an area near Valley Center after a sexual assault was reported at a home late Friday morning.
Deputies were searching an area around the 4200 block of West 89th Street North and in the area of the Big Ditch at 85th Street North. The suspect was reported as a white male in his late 30s, 6 feet tall and 210 pounds. He ran into a cornfield after the incident was reported.
No other details were released on the case.
