Northbound traffic was completely blocked for a time on the Kansas Turnpike in Sumner County because of a crash involving a semi that caught fire.
The crash was reported at mile marker 8.6, and traffic was being diverted at the South Haven exit. Northbound traffic started moving again about an hour after the crash, but it was moving slower as vehicles were moved onto the right shoulder to move traffic past the crash scene.
No injuries were reported from the crash.
