In preparation for the Heartland Classic, the McPherson College Bulldog football team and the Heartland Black Wichita Chamber of Commerce are hosting a free clinic for Wichita youth. The clinic takes place Monday, August 26th from 6:00-7:30 p.m. at the Boys and Girls Club of South Central Kansas. After the clinic the Bulldogs and kids will have hot dogs and Gatorade to wrap up the event. “I am excited for the opportunity we have to give of our time and talents to serve the youth of Wichita through this clinic on Monday evening,” McPherson College Director of Athletics Andrew Ehling said. “Many of us have been impacted at some point in our lives by the service of others and it is important that we look for ways we can be a positive impact to those around us.” The Heartland Football Classic is a charity game taking place Saturday, September 7th and features a game between McPherson and Langston University at Cessna Stadium.
