Wichita Police have identified a woman killed in a crash Monday night near 53rd Street North and Meridian as 28-year-old Sierra Frost of Wichita.

Police were called shortly after 10 p.m. to the report of a crash at 53rd Street North and Charles.  When they arrived they found a silver Ford Escape on its side that had struck a utility pole.

They found Frost inside of the SUV, unresponsive.  EMS arrived and treated Frost at the scene but she died from her injuries.

Investigators say a 27-year-old was driving the Escape southbound on Charles when they ran the stop sign and collided with the Honda.  The SUV then struck a utility pole and rolled.

The driver of the Escape was taken to the hospital for treatment of serious injuries.  The driver of the Honda was not hurt.
