Wichita’s school district started handing out continuous learning packets Monday, but this led to long lines of people which goes against current social distancing guidelines.
To help avoid long lines going forward, packet pickup times at schools have been extended. You can now get a learning packet from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. The packets are also available at the 18 meal pickup sites across Wichita, but this is still only from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Packets are also available online at the Wichita Public Schools website at the following link: Continuous Learning Packets
If you’ve already got a packet, you do not need a new one. These are not changing daily, only weekly.
