The man killed in a hit-and-run Wednesday night is identified as 56-year-old Harold Long, of Wichita.
Police were called to 27th North and Arkansas, around 8:50 p.m., and found Long in the road. He died from his injuries at the scene. Investigators believe Long was crossing the street east to west, when he was hit by a car going south. Police have been working to find witnesses who could describe the vehicle that left the scene, or video that shows the driver. For now, the suspect car is described as a black or dark Tahoe with possible front end damage.
