Reno County sheriff’s deputies said a 12-year-old boy was killed Sunday an an ATV accident south of Arlington.
Two youngsters were riding a four-wheeler and a dirt bike on private property in the 20,000 block of West Pretty Prairie Road, and the vehicles collided shortly before 5 p.m. One boy had severe injuries and he was taken to a hospital, but he died later. Deputies said he was wearing protective equipment.
The boy’s name has not been released.
