26 year old Cameron Wayne King of Haysville was arrested by the Cowley County Sheriff’s Office in early August, and Arkansas City Police have recently connected him to other crimes as well.
The Arkansas City Police Department previously noticed an uptick in crime in the northwestern part of the city, and eventually connected King to them–as well as others in Sedgwick County. They also learned he had been in possession of a stolen vehicle that was later found in Wichita.
King was arrested on August 8th on suspicion of felony aggravated assault of a law enforcement officer, criminal damage to property, burglary a motor vehicle, and possession of stolen property; among many other charges. The additional charges were added to his Cowley County booking.
King is currently being held in the Cowley County Jail in Winfield.
