The Kansas Highway Patrol said a man was struck and killed by a car as he tried to run across Interstate 135 in Harvey County.
The man was identified as 20-year-old Kalub Rowson of Minneapolis, Kansas. Troopers said he ran across the interstate at mile marker 23.8 around 10:15 p.m. Saturday, and he was hit by the right front corner of a southbound SUV. The three people in the SUV were not hurt.
The accident scene was about 12 miles north of Wichita.
