Wichita Police are investigating a case involving an as-yet-unknown individual impersonating an officer.
A resident reported being stopped around 8pm Monday by a man driving a black Buick 4-door sedan with red and blue emergency lights in the upper windshield.
The man asked for identification and proof of insurance, looked at the documents, returned them, then left.
He is described as an unknown male of average build and height, wearing a dark blue or black uniform, and armed with a handgun.
