A fourth suspect has been arrested for a July homicide in Wichita.
Someone called police on July 2, to report a possible murder at a home near Lincoln and Woodlawn, in the 800 block of South San Pablo. This investigation went on for several days, then 47-year-old Roy Hayden was found dead July 6, in a car near 15th and Broadway.
This fourth suspect is 34-year-old Lawrence Bailey, who has now been charged with 1st-degree murder, aggravated kidnapping, aggravated battery, and criminal possession of a firearm. Bailey is also charged with aggravated burglary, aggravated kidnapping and aggravated robbery in a separate case. His bond was set at $250,000 and his next court appearance is scheduled for November 5th.
35-year-old Matthew Small, 20-year-old Ariana Cook, and 19-year-old Carlos Delgado, all from Wichita, are also facing charges for Hayden’s death.
Specifics have not been given on a motive for Hayden’s death, but police have said it was related to drug activity.
