The Metropolitan Area Building and Construction Department is retuning to online only services because of concerns over rising COVID-19 numbers.
The MABCD will continue to process transactions for licenses and permits through its online portal, phone or email. The online only services will be in place through December 1st, unless conditions call for an extension.
People who have already scheduled appointments will be contacted by an MABCD staff member to complete their transaction.
The department also will be making changes to continue field inspection services.
