Governor Kelly  held a roundtable discussion Thursday with teachers and staff at a Wichita high school.

The discussion at Northeast Magnet High School focused on the safest ways to get students and staff back in school quickly.

Most notably, Kelly said that all Kansas K-12 teachers and employees who want to receive their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine will be able to do so within the next week.

Over the course of the next week or so, Kansas will have completed prime vaccinations for every K-12 educator and staff member who wanted to receive one–which puts the state on track to have teachers full vaccinated by the week of March 22nd.
