The Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office has identified the man who was killed Tuesday in a crash on K-15 in Derby.
Deputies said 65-year-old Carl Miller II of Hutchinson was driving a car south on the highway when he collided with an eastbound vehicle at Meadowlark. The second vehicle was making a left turn when Miller’s van went into the intersection against a red light.
Miller was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the other vehicle, a 29-year-old woman, was taken to a hospital with serious injuries.
