Two more small quakes rattle Wichita

Two more small quakes rattle Wichita

There was more shaking in Wichita this morning.

One quake hit at 8:52 a.m., with another at 8:59. There were rated at 3.1 and 3.2 respectively, by the USGS. These quakes come after at least six from the weekend. The strongest was a 4.0 that hit close to 6:08 p.m. Sunday.

No damage from the quakes has been reported.

The city of Wichita activated its Quake Activation Plan on Sunday evening and did not find any damage to city infrastructures.    The dam at Cheney Lake was also checked and no damage was found there.
