The Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office identified 43-year-old Kandy Fairchild, of Wichita, as the woman who died in a pedestrian crash Sunday night.
According to the sheriff’s office, a driver was headed north on Broadway, near 119th South, and hit Fairchild while she was walking in the road. This was reported shortly after 10 p.m. Fairchild died of her injuries at the scene.
This crash is still being investigated.
