Police said a 29-year-old Wichita man awakened Tuesday to find an acquaintance inside his home without permission. He was hurt as the intruder was leaving.
The incident was reported around 6:40 a.m. at a home in the 400 block of North Glenn. Police said the victim awakened and found a 50-year-old man in his home. The man got out of the home and began to leave in his van. He struck the victim with the van and then left.
The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. Police are still investigating.
