WPS Summer Food Program begins June 1st

Starting June 1, Wichita Public Schools will be offering meals for kids at 28 sites across the city.

These meals are available for anyone up to 18-years-old, regardless of whether or not they attend school in the district. Most locations offering meals will have a dine-in option, but all locations will offer grab and go service. Boxed meals will include a lunch and a breakfast for the following day.

Most meal sites will be open sometime between 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m., though hours for meal service do vary by location. Get a full schedule by following the links below.

The Summer Meal Program is sponsored by the USDA to make sure that kids have access to food when school is out for the summer.
