Wichita police have arrested two teenagers for a sexual assault on a teen girl that was recorded on video and then posted on social media.
Police talked to a 17-year-old girl at a hospital on May 28th, and she reported being sexually assaulted while at a friend’s home in an incoherent state. The assault was put on video and placed on the social media platform Snapchat.
After an investigation, detectives arrested an 18-year-old boy for two counts of rape and one count of aggravated sexual battery, and a 19-year-old boy was arrested for one count of rape and one count of aggravated sexual battery.
The investigation is continuing and information will be presented to the Sedgwick County District Attorney’s Office for formal charges.
