A Sedgwick County Sheriff’s deputy is not being charged after an arrest for a domestic violence incident.
The deputy and his partner were both arrested after a dispute on May 29. According to the Sheriff’s Office, the case was fully investigated and presented to the District Attorney’s Office, where it was decided no charges would be pursued.
Until an internal investigation is done, the deputy will remain on restricted duty. During this time period, the deputy will not have contact with the public.
