Wichita police are investigating two shootings from Thursday night.
The first was reported near 47th S. and Hydraulic, around 9:20. Someone reported shots being fired at a house and someone with gunshot wounds showed up at a hospital shortly after. Injuries to the victim were described as being from a shotgun, and the person is expected to be OK.
A second shooting was reported close to 11:40 p.m., near 13th and Hydraulic. A person in their 20’s was found with a gunshot wound and taken to a hospital for care. Injuries were described as not life-threatening.
So far, officials have not spoken about potential suspects or motive in either shooting.
