The Wichita Art Museum is opening an exhibit featuring the best works of an artist known for his work in the Studio Glass movement.
Richard Marquis: Keepers will be on display at the Art Museum through September 5th. It features over 100 works from Marquis’ personal collection, items that he kept rather than releasing them to museums or collectors.
Marquis is known for his technical mastery of glass and the intellect and humor behind many of his works. The exhibit is jointly organized by the Art Museum and the Museum of Glass in Tacoma, Washington.
