Pull-A-Plane Inaugural Event Rescheduled for October

The Pull-A-Plane event, hosted by Doc’s Friends and the WSU Tech Foundation, has bee officially rescheduled for October 16th 2021. The event was rescheduled from 2020.

The event will be at the B-29 Doc Hangar, Education and Visitor’s Center at Eisenhower National Airport. It begins at 9 a.m. and lasts throughout the day.

Pull-A-Plane features teams of 25 people racing to pull Doc–the restored B-29 Superfortress that weighs nearly 80,000 pounds–25 feet down the taxiway.

Each team will raise $2,500 in order to participate. Proceeds from the inaugural fundraiser will be shared between the WSU Tech Foundation to support student-focused initiatives, and Doc’s Friends to help broaden Doc’s operations and hangar education program.
