Police are investigating a late night crash that killed a motorcycle rider in northeast Wichita.
A motorcycle and an SUV collided around 9:30 Sunday night near Rock Road and 37th Street North. 50-year-old David Butterworth of Wichita was the motorcycle rider and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said the rider was going north on Rock Road at a high speed and it collided with an SUV that was turning into a gas station.
