A woman has been charged with first degree murder in connection with a fatal stabbing in southeast Wichita.
A judge set bond at $250,000 for 34-year-old Latoya McCurn, and her next court appearance was scheduled for September 2nd.
McCurn was arrested after a body was found August 17th in an alley behind a business near Harry and Rock Road. The body was identified as 49-year-old Hung Nguyen. Police believe he was stabbed during a dispute, but a motive has not been released.
Police said McCurn was recently released from prison in Texas after serving time for arson-related crimes.
