An early morning fire damaged a south Wichita apartment building on Sunday. Crews got several people out of the building and no injuries were reported.
The fire was reported around 7:30 a.m. at The Shores apartments at 2815 South Emporia. Crews reported smoke coming from the building when they arrived.
The Red Cross was called to help people who were displaced by the fire. Investigators are looking into the cause and there was no word in the extent of damage.
