Long-time Wichita musician Rudy Love has died after a battle with pancreatic cancer. He was 73.
Love was known for performances around the world with funk and R&B band Rudy Love and the Love Family. He was born in Oklahoma and moved to Wichita as a child, and he performed at a number of concerts and events over seven decades. He was scheduled to perform at this year’s Wichita River Festival.
