A Salina woman has been charged in connection with an incident at an east Wichita store that led to officers firing shots at her.

31-year-old Danielle Robinson is charged with attempted first degree murder, two counts of aggravated assault of a law enforcement officer, attempted aggravated robbery, two counts of aggravated assault and criminal possession of a weapon by a convicted felon.   Her bond was set at $250,000 and her next court appearance was scheduled for October 14th.

Police said Robinson was acting paranoid and pointing a gun at people on October 4th at a Whole Foods store at 13th and Webb Road.   Officers confronted her and she retreated into the store.   Police said she fired a shot at the officers and they returned fire.   Robinson was taken to a hospital where she was treated and released the next day.
