Crews brought a fire under control in an apartment building at a complex near downtown Wichita Monday morning.
The fire was reported shortly before 10 a.m. at the Water’s Edge Apartments at Central and Waco. Crews saw flames coming from the second floor of the building.
The fire was under control within half an hour and there were no reports of injuries. The cause is under investigation.
