Police now have a second suspect in custody for a fatal shooting in a north Wichita apartment. An 18-year-old man, who was also injured in the shooting, has been released from a hospital and he has been booked into jail on a charge of first degree murder.
Officers found 22-year-old Braekwon Bennett at an apartment on November 1st in the 300 block of West 10th Street North. Bennett died later at a hospital.
A 17-year-old suspect was arrested shortly after the shooting and booked on a first-degree murder charge.
