Dillon’s stores has issued a recall for fresh meat items that were sold at a south Wichita store.
Store officials say there was a problem with the refrigeration system at the store at Harry and Edgemoor, and some items were removed, but others may have been sold and there could be a risk of contamination. The items were sold from November 25th to November 26th.
The items include fresh beef, fresh pork, fresh chicken, and some fresh turkey that was ground and cut. Fresh and frozen whole turkeys were not affected.
The recall also includes uncooked hams, ground bison and plant-based meat alternatives.
There have been no reports of illnesses at this time. Anyone concerned about illness should contact their health care provider.
