The late U.S. Senator Bob Dole will be laid to rest at Arlington National Cemetery in Washington, D.C. on February 2nd.
The Elizabeth Dole Foundation announced the burial plans Thursday, and said there will be a private graveside funeral service.
Dole died December 5th at the age of 98 after a battle with lung cancer. His casket was brought to Kansas for funeral services in his hometown of Russell and a public ceremony at the Kansas State Capitol Rotunda in Topeka.
